Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 June 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Wealth Manager (“the Service”), a private household finance tool operated by Dhiram Shah, Bangalore, Karnataka, India (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.The Service
Wealth Manager lets a household capture expenses from manual entry and statement uploads, categorize them, reconcile logged spend against statements, and visualize household finances. It is an informational and organizational tool only.
2.Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18 or older to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in (email sign-in link or Google account) secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may invite members to a household; you are responsible for who you invite and what they can see.
3.Your data and content
You retain ownership of the financial data and files you provide. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter or upload, and for having the right to upload any statement or document.
4.Sensitive information you must never share
To protect you, never enter, upload, type, or forward any of the following into the Service:
- net-banking or card login passwords;
- debit or credit card PINs, CVV/CVV2 numbers, or full card numbers;
- one-time passwords (OTPs) or two-factor authentication codes; or
- images or numbers of government identity documents (such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or driving licence).
The Service never needs this information and will never ask you for it. The only password the Service ever uses is the one that opens a password-protected statement PDF you choose to upload — it is held as an encrypted secret, used only in memory to read that one file, and never stored as readable text. Before uploading any document, redact details you don’t need to share. If you ever receive a message claiming to be from us that asks for a password, OTP, card number, or identity document, treat it as fraud and do not respond. You are responsible for what you choose to enter or upload.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- upload another person’s financial data without authority to do so;
- attempt to breach security, access other households’ data, or disrupt the Service;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service; or
- misuse the Service to launder money or facilitate fraud.
6.Not financial advice
The Service organizes and visualizes information you provide. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in it should be relied upon as such. Figures, categories, forecasts, and reconciliations are best-effort and may contain errors — always verify against your bank and card statements before acting. We are not a bank, lender, or financial institution and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any bank or card issuer named in the Service.
7.Artificial intelligence features
Some features use third-party artificial intelligence (AI) to help read forwarded statements and receipts, tidy up merchant names, suggest categories, and answer questions you type in plain words. By using the Service you acknowledge and accept that:
- AI output is automated, probabilistic, and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong;
- it is assistive and advisory only — never financial, tax, or investment advice;
- your transactions are categorized by a deterministic rules engine, not AI, and no AI suggestion changes your data until you choose to apply it; and
- you are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything that matters before relying on it.
Content processed by an AI feature may be sent to our AI provider solely to return a result, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8.Payments and refunds
The Service is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans or features, the applicable price, billing cycle, taxes, and refund or cancellation terms will be presented to you before you pay, and payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Razorpay) under their terms — we do not store your full card details. Unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase, charges for a billing period are non-refundable except where required by law. Any refund or cancellation request can be sent to wealth@dhiram.com.
9.Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (hosting, database/auth, optional Google sign-in, an AI text provider, email and push delivery, and any payment provider). Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant third party’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10.Intellectual property
The Service — its software, design, and branding — is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your household. They grant no other rights.
11.Security & data breaches
We take the security of your data seriously and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, including household-level access isolation, encryption in transit, private file storage, and access-controlled infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You use the Service with the understanding that, despite our measures, unauthorized access, data breaches, or loss or corruption of data can still occur.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to, or the breach, loss, alteration, or disclosure of, your data or content that occurs despite our reasonable measures, or that results from causes beyond our reasonable control — including the acts of third parties, or your own devices, accounts, or shared access being compromised. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in and devices secure and for the people you invite. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will respond in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
12.Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that data will always be accurate or preserved.
13.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or savings, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹1,000.
14.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
15.Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
16.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
17.Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change and continued use means acceptance. Questions about these Terms? Email wealth@dhiram.com.
