What’s new
We ship most weeks — a lot of it straight from the families using Wealth Manager every day. Here’s the recent run.
61 improvements across the last 11 updates
Jul 20–26
This week
- NewA “Typical month” figure and a “One-off outlays” card on the dashboard — your everyday run-rate with big one-off purchases set aside and listed separately (each shown as how many months of normal spending it equals). One month that read ₹4.5 lakh is really ₹59,000 of everyday spending.
- NewFamily: the head can now add a deposit or investment on a member's behalf, and each member's page shows their asset mix and how it tracks their target — just like your own Investments page.
- NewRicher deposit filters — filter by instrument (FD, RD, PPF, and the rest) and by a maturity date range you choose, with a running total of exactly what you're looking at.
- NewAccounts can belong to a person, and Review now shows and filters by who each transaction is for — so in a shared household you can clear just your own queue without touching anyone else's.
- NewA printable Maturity schedule — every deposit by due date with its full account number and a running total, ready to take to the bank. Print it on its own, or as part of the full statement.
- ImprovedCorrecting a category now teaches the app the brand, not just that one line — one Swiggy fix covers all 25 ways your banks spell it, and shop names no longer carry the till's city and type (three “Westside” variants become one). Your existing rules were rebuilt the same way, so the backlog is already cleared. Across your history: 39% correctly sorted → 99%.
- ImprovedHoldings and merchant names read cleaner — stocks show “1,250 shares · ₹129.76 each” instead of a bare “1250 units”, and UPI payees come through in full without their bank and payment codes stuck on (“A Deepak R Axl Kotak Mahi” → “A Deepak R”).
- ImprovedThe Investments page is far easier to scan — deposit filters now fit on one line, every balance lines up in a single column, and each deposit is tagged with its type (FD, PPF, NPS…) in its own colour-coded column. Each holding takes two lines instead of three, with Edit and Delete tucked away until you hover, and the second line now names the figure it's showing, so the invested and current amounts can never be mistaken for each other.
- FixedPrinting now covers everyone. An HUF, or a family member who hasn't signed in yet, can be printed like anyone else — they were missing from the list entirely — each person's portfolio starts on its own page, and the family statement counts every portfolio it actually includes.
- Fixed“Ask your money” answers are more trustworthy: a question about a category it can't match now says so instead of quietly answering with your total spend, every figure carries the ₹ sign, replies come back faster (the checks now run at once rather than one after another) and each answer shows what it actually looked at. A weak answer is retried on a stronger model instead of being served as-is.
- Fixed“Ask your money” now understands bank initials (asking about “BOI” finds your Bank of India deposits) and no longer double-counts a renewed FD's old closed term when it totals a bank.
- Fixed“Heads up” alerts are far quieter and worth reading — they now need a real amount of money behind them and no longer mistake a bill that lands every other month for a spending spree.
- FixedRefreshing prices reaches more of your stocks — a few added without a stock symbol were stuck at an old price and now update, and the button tells you if any still can't be matched.
- FixedThings now render the way they were meant to — amounts are easier to read, with the ₹ sign sized to match your figures and a small gap after it instead of running straight into the first digit (the numeric typeface has no rupee sign at all, so it was being drawn by a system font at 134% size). Also: two people could end up sharing a colour in the family By-member chart, and section headings across the app were coming out grey instead of their proper colour and weight.
Jul 13–19
- FixedLong transaction histories no longer get cut off. Older transactions could drop out of the list once you had thousands, which also made the Money in / out / Net figures read low — the totals now match what's actually there.
- FixedImported statements credit the right person instead of quietly filing under whoever uploaded them, and the importer now tells you who it's attributing each transaction to.
- ImprovedClearing a backlog is quicker — Review groups every spelling of a shop into a single entry, so you answer once per shop instead of once per line.
- FixedWhen a filter matches nothing, Transactions now says so and offers to clear your filters, instead of showing “Nothing logged yet” as if your data had vanished.
- ImprovedAdding a deposit gives clearer errors — the exact box that needs fixing is highlighted, worded to match what you're adding (a bank FD vs a PPF/EPF/NPS balance).
- FixedThe dashboard net-worth card no longer shows a stray block when your net worth hasn't moved, and the month arrows are hidden on an investments-only view where nothing changes month to month.
- FixedThe sidebar Review counter clears the moment you finish categorising, and the “partial range” notice disappears as soon as your chosen dates are exact.
Jul 6–12
- NewSetup now brings in your money right away — upload one bank or card statement during onboarding and your dashboard has real numbers the moment you finish, instead of starting empty. No statement handy? Skip it, or set up email forwarding — you can import anytime.
- FixedFlipkart Axis credit card statements now import the correct amounts — the card's cashback column was being read as the spend, making charges come in far too small.
- FixedICICI bank statements (the monthly savings e-statement) now read cleanly — transactions come through with proper merchant names instead of jumbled text and statement headers mixed in.
Jun 29 – Jul 5
- NewSpends in a foreign currency are converted to your home currency automatically, with the original amount and rate kept underneath (e.g. “USD 37.89 @ 83.40”).
- ImprovedPrinting the family portfolio now gives each member their own page, plus a maturity-by-date schedule for planning.
- ImprovedYour own holdings show your name instead of “You”, and an HUF is clearly marked as its own entity across Investments, Family and printouts.
- ImprovedPPF, EPF and NPS show their full names and always display the current balance, whichever value view you pick.
- ImprovedFiltering transactions is now instant — date, category, account and who-paid all apply with no wait.
- ImprovedSnappier pages across Transactions, Dashboard and Investments — lighter charts and a deferred assistant load.
Jun 22–28
- New“Ask your money” now reasons, not just reports — “which stock is doing worst”, “who paid more this month”, “why did my dining go up” — and explains what drove the change.
- NewWhat-if answers — “if I halved food delivery, how much would I save a year?” — worked out from your own spending.
- NewAsk flags unusual spending, and greets you with a quick “worth knowing” summary when you open it.
- ImprovedYour real name now shows everywhere instead of “Me” — rename yourself or add a partner in Settings.
- ImprovedStatement reading understands UPI payees, so merchants come through clean instead of garbled.
- ImprovedCategory suggestions in Review are faster and no longer skip merchants when the AI hiccups — more of them get a one-tap suggestion.
- FixedMatured fixed deposits no longer double-count toward your net worth.
- FixedInvestments now group cleanly by type — all stocks together, all funds together — and deposits list soonest-maturing first.
- FixedThe Amount column no longer gets cut off on wide transaction tables.
Jun 15–21
- NewAsk suggests smart follow-up questions, and understands phrases like “my Tata stocks” or “quick commerce”.
- NewManage household members and invitations from Settings, with friendly welcome emails.
- ImprovedClearer notes on the AI assistant — it’s read-only, runs only when you ask, and never trains on your data.
- ImprovedSign-in links now work across devices.
- FixedExpenses forwarded by email are attributed to the person who sent them.
Jun 8–14
